Hours : Days, Full - Time (Including Call) Educational Requirements : High School Diploma or Equivalent required Preferred Education: Completion of an accredited anesthesia technician program preferred Minimum Skill Requirements : Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in equipment setup and patient monitoring • Ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols precisely • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with the anesthesia providers and surgical staff • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks, such as moving and lifting heavy equipment • Dexterity and coordination to handle delicate instruments and equipment • Ability to quickly asses and respond to equipment malfunctions or patient emergencies • Critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions effectively • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including anesthesia, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities in a dynamic operating room environment • Strong organizational skills to manage supplies, maintain equipment, and keep accurate records • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting Preferred Skill Requirements : Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in an operating room or anesthesia department • Knowledge of aseptic and infection control practices • Hands-on experience with anesthesia equipment • Proficiency in setting up, operating, and maintaining anesthesia machines, monitors, and related equipment • Basic understanding of medical terminology and surgical procedures • Knowledge of infection control protocols and sterile technique • Strong communication skills to interact with surgical team members and patients This position is listed as a Safety Sensitive Position. *Safety Sensitive Position Definition: The essential duties of the job require the employee to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner.
