The program offers practical experience and exposure to a public service career as a Behavioral Health Clinician. Locations: Various sites within the SF Health Network, including clinics, Laguna Honda Hospital, ZSFG, and Jail Health Services. Schedule: Varies depending on the program. The Fellow will be trained to provide clinical services and care coordination, working as part of a team with ongoing training. The program lasts up to one year, with milestones including orientation, standards of care, documentation, understanding mental health disorders, and applying evidence-based interventions. Qualifications Must be a recent graduate within three months or enrolled in the last semester of a relevant master's program (MSW, LMFT, LPCC) meeting California BBS requirements. Applicants should be prepared to apply for registration as an ASW, AMFT, or APCC within the first month of employment or graduation. Desirable qualifications include prior SFDPH internship experience, language skills in Chinese, Spanish, or Filipino, community involvement, and experience in culturally responsive behavioral health services.
