Architecture and residential development firm based in NYC and Upstate NY seeks junior level Intern Architect for work on new high end modern residences Upstate for the development firm and private clients. Architect will work in a hybrid working environment, directly with the Principal Architect and the Project Team, assisting in all project stages, from design to construction documents and contract administration. Architect should possess strong design, communication and representational skills, and be able to take an active and collaborative role in the operations of the firm. Requirements include:
· Enrollment in a nearby Professional Degree in Architecture
· Experience in working on a coordinated set of drawings Strong Proficiency with Revit, Enscape and AutoCAD, Rhino & Adobe Creative Suite
· Excellence in 3D presentation, production and technical skills
· Ability to assist with all phases of a project; from research and concepts to design and details through to project completion
· Hard working, motivated and self-sufficient
· Focused, articulate, well organized, and detail-oriented
· Strong design abilities and graphic sensibilities
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Authorization to work in the United States
Position:
· Contract period with potential for full-time, but not guaranteed
· Full time during summer / holidays
· Full-time summer; Part-time potential during school term
