Salad Bar/Breakfast Prep

Hourly Range: $17.00-$20.00/hr

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Salad Bar and Breakfast Prep! In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the high quality and timely preparation of salads and breakfast items for our customers. The ideal candidate should have a passion for culinary arts, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Food Preparation

• Prepare and assemble a variety of salads and breakfast items according to established recipes and guidelines.

Ingredient Management

• Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and adhere to food safety standards. Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages.

Quality Control

• Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation. Conduct regular checks to ensure consistency in taste, texture, and appearance.

Sanitation and Cleanliness

• Follow proper sanitation procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Collaboration

• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of food items. Communicate effectively with team members to address any issues or special requests.

Customer Interaction

• Interact with customers to take special orders, provide information about menu items, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Adaptability

• Be flexible and willing to assist in other kitchen tasks as needed, including food prep for other menu items.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation or a similar role is preferred.

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Demands/Work Environment

Essential physical requirements, such as climbing, standing, bending, stooping, and typing.
