The Summer SEAL Office Assistants will collaborate with peers and SEAL staff to support the development and execution of SOAR (Starting Out At Regis: New Student Orientation) and assist with preparations for fall semester programs and initiatives within the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership. Key responsibilities include assisting with new student orientation planning, managing logistics for student move-in, and serving as a communication and engagement resource for incoming students and families. Summer SEAL Assistants may also assist Regis University Clubs and Organizations by supporting fall semester planning, roster tracking, and event preparation. Additional office duties may be assigned as needed. General expectations include working 10–40 hours per week in the SEAL office, attending weekly staff meetings, assisting with pre-orientation sessions and admitted student events, collaborating with SEAL staff, acting as a communication liaison with incoming students, serving as a peer mentor for clubs and organizations, providing guidance on Ranger Portal usage, assisting in marketing and promotion of events, lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs, and demonstrating strong attention to detail, communication skills, organizational abilities, enthusiasm, initiative, and responsibility. The role represents Regis University and SEAL positively at all activities and events. Requirements include prior work in the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership during the 2024–2025 academic year. Benefits include workers’ compensation and paid sick leave.
